My Approach
My Approach
Drawing from psychodynamic and Jungian approaches, I collaborate with you to explore the relational, emotional, and symbolic patterns that shape how you experience yourself and others. We attend to both what is consciously known and what continues to operate outside awareness—the hidden architecture of the psyche.
Symptom relief is a meaningful starting point. As distress begins to soften, there is often greater capacity to listen to the unconscious communication within the symptom—whether it carries unspoken conflicts, overt frictions, or early adaptive echoes that seek recognition and integration through psychological suffering.
Our work recognizes that the psyche is formed and transformed through relationship. We pay close attention to the dynamics that emerge within the therapeutic space, as these often mirror the internal world and early relational blueprints that influence your current life. By examining narratives shaped by defensive structures—the ways we have learned to protect ourselves from pain—we allow those structures to gradually loosen. This process creates room for a more spontaneous self-expression and allows new relational possibilities to emerge, moving from rigid repetition to psychological flexibility.
In my work at the intersection of depth psychology and EMDR, I pay close attention to how experience is held not only in thought but also in the body. At times, emotional processing involves sensations or perceptions connected to early experiences that are not fully represented in words. These moments reflect how protective responses, once necessary for survival, can become reactivated in the present. When helpful, embodied awareness—including approaches informed by EMDR—is woven in to support psychosomatic integration, helping to metabolize traumatic experiences that have been split off from the conscious ego and held within isolated, implicit memory systems.
At the same time, we remain attentive to archetypal patterns, dreams, and symbolic imagery as meaningful expressions of the psyche. Alchemical symbolism provides a language for this psychological transformation—the slow process of integrating the shadow as the disowned aspects of the self, dissolving fixed identifications, and sustaining the necessary psychic chaos and ego dissolution to allow for the coagulation of a more fluid internal orientation. Alongside the analysis of your experience, we enter into a direct dialogue with inner figures and recurring motifs—inviting the transformative potential that lives beyond the conscious ego. This is a gradual process of integration, where aspects of experience previously defended against become symbolized and understood, allowing for new, integrated responses to emerge from the old triggers, and fostering an inner life that can hold complexity, contradiction, and multiplicity.
The work is responsive and individualized. Your psychological organization, history, and capacities shape the pace and direction of the process. This approach also recognizes the intersection of psychological and spiritual experience. Spiritual longing can be deeply meaningful, yet at times it is interwoven with unresolved emotional wounds. We explore these dimensions with care, allowing spiritual experience to remain grounded and integrated within your lived emotional reality.
I invite you to learn more about how I support [a variety of life paths] and my work with [Spiritual Integration], a process that draws from the meaningful intersection of my own lived experience and clinical training."
